I know it is a bit late to talk about Valentines Day, or too early, depending upon how you look at it. And a highly publicized Festival of Love is the last thing on my mind nowadays, as on anyone’s mind, really!!! But I really had forgotten all about this scene I captured on Valentines Day 2008.
As I’ve always told my friends, Valentine’s Day is a rather taxing time for single people, more so for single men. The preparation to make the eternal declaration of love begins usually a week ahead for eager young bachelors….. however it is more of a sacred duty for guys who aren’t single anymore, those who are either hooked or married. Woe befalls the man whose woman finds out her girlfriend got a bigger, costlier, more sensitive or more symbolic declaration of love as compared to the one she recieved from her man!!!!
And in the complex lives we all live, its difficult to remember all things in life. So…………………….

At 8:30pm on Valentine’s Day, the men made a last ditch attempt at making their women feel at least a bit special…………. It was a scene too precious to lose…. One flower seller, 30 male customers, not enough red roses……. PRICELESS!!!!
